In this episode, I discuss how we, as a modern society, have forgotten how to lament and what lamentation could do for us, on an individual level and as a whole.

Additionally, on Tuesday a new episode of the Philosophia podcast, hosted by Dr. David Schenk, was released. Dr. Schenk has been a professor at Messiah University for over 20 years and he now offers his gentle but hard-hitting analysis of the classical tradition of education and philosophy as it engages contemporary culture and thought in his new podcast, Philosophia. In Episode 08, “Competing Moral Theories,” Dr. Schenk explores the moral deformities that exist in our K-12 education system and how biological reductionism plays into this confusion of morality.
